After my meeting, I had lunch at Gerry's with my office colleagues. I wasn't too keen on having grilled tuna and crispy spareribs as I was excited to drop by the nearest Starbucks.
First thing was to check out the decor from outside. They're back to red and green unlike last year's silver and pale blue snowflakes.
Then I saw it. My much awaited planner. But....
I felt dismayed with the way it looks. It's so 2007 with a new cover. It comes in 3 colors; red, blue and black. This year, it wasn't like four years ago when after completing 60 (??) stickers, you get three planners of various cover colors. Just complete 16 and you get one.
Nothing exciting really. Maybe because I have collected several quantities of these planners than most are unused and stacked in my bookshelf. I do get to use a number of them and some I give away. But mostly, it just stands inside the shelf.
What really got me is their new flavor -> Dark Cherry Mocha! It actually tastes like the Red Ribbon Black Forest Cake.
The usual Toffee Nut Latte and Praline Mocha are still offered. They have scrapped the Peppermint Mocha this year. (Wasn't the peppermint flavor absent last Christmas too?)
Oh well, November 4 may be election day in America. But for me, I got my first sticker. He he he....

over two months to collect white. and only 16 stickers to get a planner. though i think 1 sticker is a giveaway ata from starbucks.
peppermint was in last year's christmas drink selection but this year it was not included - sayang.. i prefer peppermint rather than dark cherry.. eww. hahahah
yes DE, they took out peppermint. though ayaw ko sya kasi parang umiinom ako ng vicks vaporur. ha ha ha
the dark cherry is nice, para nganng liquid black forest cake.
dapat ang tinanggal eh yung toffee nut latte. i like it though lagi naman walang stock towards the end of the season.
